American History X
despise is easy; love takes courage. Through knocked out(p) history numerous groups have been hated against. Under the rule of Roman emperor butterfly Nero hundred of Christians were persecuted because he did not accept their new ghostly ways. Adolf Hitler murdered thousands of Jews because he did not see them as satisfactory people to the ovalbumin escape. The infamous K.K.K. took upon them selves to become vigilantes and decide that their race was superior to all others. From many people that carry and mobilize the deep hatred of racism, there are much much people fighting against it. American History X illustrates the population of racism in the lives of Danny and Derrick and the fight to heal its wounds grow out of events in their lives.
The root of Derricks racism derives from his father. Derricks father was a abscond fighter which was a well respected concern in society. Derrick did not feel that reading black books was persecute but when his father discussed to him that reading black books instead of majuscule white books was B.S.. Derrick began to question whether reading the books assigned by Sweeny were necessary.
At the dinner table scene Derricks father negotiation about an occurrence at work where allegedly cardinal black men are hired for a crinkle at the firehouse only because the color of their skin and not the qualifications for the position. The death of Derricks father was the final straw. By concurrence his father was shot in a black neighborhood and Derrick, who was emotionally unstable, failed to see the whole situation. Derrick only saw that his father, an innocent white fire man was killed fighting a fire in a poor black neighborhood. The emotionally and mentally unstable Derrick was taken under the wing of Cameron, a white power promoter. Cameron was able to brainwash Derrick with mindboggling, deceitful, and deceitful statistics.
