Two Kinds

In the story Two Kinds, the narrator is a Chinese-American little girl who is locked in a crusade over her identity with her Chinese immigrant mother. She believes that you could be anything you indispensablenessed to be in America. This particular struggle invokes the mothers attempt to mold her daughter, Jing-mei, into a musical prodigy so that she will be able to brag to her booster station Lindo Jong, whose daughter is a precocious chess champion. This story describes the kindred that many young girls have with their mothers, or flush their parents in general. In my own experiences, parents want their children to be the beaver that they can be. However, sometimes parents do not know how to post their emotions in a realistic way. Instead, they keep their children feel as if they are not good enough to achieve anything. In Two Kinds, Jing-mei struggles with her mothers expectations. I, however struggle with my founders expectations. He feels the need to guide in what he feels to be the right direction. Although, I sometimes feel wish well he is often trying to live vicariously by dint of me. I believe that there are things he wishes he had done in his life, and that he is now trying to do through me. I am a very scientific person who believes in logic.

I have grown up around animals my whole life and have found that I want to do something in the animal science industry. My bugger off thinks I should be a business major who focuses on accounting, but then on the other hand he does not want me spending thousands of dollars on an education.
