Plot and Structure
Citizen Kane a 1941 American drama film directed by, and also starring, Orson Wells. The film is often considered the greatest of exclusively time and receives much praise towards its innovative cinematography, music, and narrative structure. nominate for several Oscars, the film only received one for top hat original screenplay. The film tells the a story about the tone and legacy of Charles Foster Kane, an enormously wealthy media proprietor who earns either the riches in the world, merely never truly finds happiness. The film opens with Kane on his deathbed in his exotic palace, Xanadu, gripping a blast globe as he gasps his final words, Rosebud. The movie so switches scenes to a group of reporters reviewing a film on the look and times of Kane. At the end of the film, the reporters begin to discuss the immenseness of Kanes last words. From there they are set on interviewing all those that were close to Kane in order to discover the entailment of his final words. The film then continuously shows flashbacks from Kanes livelihood.
As the reporter delves deeper into his interviews, we are shown the story of a fascinating humans rise to fame, and how he eventually fell finish up the world.
