In the months between April and June of 1994, tensions between the Hutus and Tutsis had reached extreme levels. The turn of imperialism changed the psychological, political and cultural ideologies that had never existed between the two social groups leading to the genocide in Rwanda.
In Rwanda, prior to the genocide, the Hutus and Tutsis mapping to interact with each other and get along on the nose fine.
