Response to Hiuldegard of Bingens

When I first read the excerpt from Know the ship canal of the Lord written by Hildegard of Bingens, to be honest I was in disbelief. Just the subject matter and the fact that the perform endorsed this person as being the real deal seemed close to too much to swallow. Certain part seemed really give away there and hard to believe. After some consideration and face upon my own time spent in church, however, other parts actually sounded similar to claims that concourse make to twenty-four hour period.

In addition to the fore-mentioned aspect of Hildegards claims that bothered me was her statement that from the age of girlhood, a power of mysterious, secret, and wondrous visions. It is hard for my brain to process the fact that a junior girl would not feel the need to talk about or share this extremely unusual and unique scenario. She besides goes on to say that the few people she did inform about these visions were members of the clergy. If that was indeed the case, why after all those years was it all at once affirmed by the church and made public be her?
