The Missionaries
A group of nineteen missionaries embarked on a journeying of Hope to Jamaica where they would endure five days of missionary work. They arrived in Kingston and went straight to administer meals to the homeless at the salvation Army center. They accordingly retreated to the Knutsford Court Hotel, their home for the conterminous five days, to get acclimated and relax. The close day the missionaries expected a full, adventurous day of visit those in need. What they sure was a day full of life altering experiences visiting the Monica McKenzie Basic schoolhouse, the capital of Israel Home, and the Dare to Care facility.
Mr. Bailey steered the Toyota bus through and through the protective gate into the sand lot of the Monica McKenzie Basic School where the children flocked toward the bus. Their ages ranged from three to six. They beamed from ear to ear in excitement to rede complete strangers. They latched on like l apiecees, one on each leg and begged to be held. The missionaries walked into the un-air-conditioned shack the Jamaicans referred to as a school, where the teacher, Ms. Bailey (not link up to Mr. Bailey), conducted the children in a couple songs praising Jesus. The missionaries then exhausted two hours playing with the children on the play ground, coloring with them, and then sitting with them for snack time.

When the time arrived for the group to depart to the next facility, tears came to the eyes of both the missionaries and the children. The children watched the bus exit the expound with sadness in their eyes hoping they would come again, soon. The missionaries sat in silence on their way to the next facility, imagining what could come some next.
Possibly the just about memorable place of the entire trip, the Jerusalem Home, happened to consist of children with disabilities and caregivers to look after them.
