PURPOSE This memorandumranda serves as a hiring recommendation for a Labor conformity Specialist within the active Labor Compliance Department. The memo pass on outline responsibilities, requirements and qualifications needed to fulfill this position. Under oecumenic supervision of the H.R. Department the candidate will lead and or supervise the work of sub-professional and/or clerical staff. Candidate is liable for planning and evaluating the performance of assigned staff; establishes performance requirements and face-to-face increase targets; regularly monitors performance and provides coaching for performance improvements and devisement; provides rewards to recognize performance, takes disciplinary action, up to and including recommendation for termination, addresses performance deficiencies, in accordance with the human resources standards and procedures and labor contract provisions. II.

RESPONSIBILITIES This position will involve the investigation, counseling, auditing and performance of other complex activities within the existing Labor Compliance Department, which relates to wage and hour and worker recompense standards. This includes meetings with public officials, private contractors, attorneys and manage union officials to negotiate/ compensate wage disputes; providing technical assistance and training to others on wakeless requirements. The Labor Compliance Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with various State and Federal personnel, contractors, subcontractors, project management teams, trade unions, and labor/apprenticeship representatives.
